The SAHASS Kumbh Seva Campaign is a proposed Pune-led social service initiative for the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.
Our purpose is to bring volunteers, donors, CSR partners, healthcare professionals and local communities together to support pilgrims with dignity while protecting the environment and respecting the daily life of people living around Nashik and Trimbakeshwar.
Kumbh Mela is not only a religious gathering. It is a powerful expression of faith, heritage, service, community participation and shared responsibility. For SAHASS, it is an opportunity to turn devotion into meaningful seva.
Kumbh Mela is among India’s most important spiritual and cultural gatherings. It is held by rotation at four sacred locations: Prayagraj, Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik–Trimbakeshwar. Each location hosts the gathering approximately once in twelve years.
The Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh is known as Simhastha Kumbh Mela. It is connected with traditional astronomical calculations and the sacred Godavari River. Pilgrims, saints, sadhus, akhadas, spiritual institutions and visitors come together for ritual bathing, prayer, spiritual discourses, temple visits and acts of seva.
Your contribution can support approved pilgrim-assistance services for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, women, children and devotees who need guidance during the Kumbh Mela.
Support cleanliness drives, waste-segregation awareness, reusable alternatives and responsible pilgrimage practices that help protect the riverbanks and surrounding public spaces.
Help nearby communities manage the pressure of large pilgrim movement through hygiene support, local cleanup initiatives, community awareness and responsible volunteer service.
Seed the Future reaches children who live at the mercy of circumstance. It’s our way of telling them: you matter, your dreams matter, and your life should not depend on luck.
As a heartfelt gesture from SAHASS, every eligible donor may receive one spiritual gift at their shared address after donation verification.
